There are THREE <\/span><\/strong>super fun items coming up this weekend. See if you can get out there this weekend for some fellowship, community service, and playing radio!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

March for Babies<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volunteer and give back to the community. All you need to bring is an HT and a smile. You will be assigned location around the lake and will be responsible for sending requests for assistance or re-supplies to Net Control. Lots of fun and it gives back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us this Saturday 4\/29 from 7:30am to about 10:30am<\/span><\/em> at First Presbyterian Church (Lake Hollingsworth).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

QRP & Tailgate Demo (Lake Wales<\/span><\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month, Lake Wales Radio Amateurs will meet at “Crystal Lake Park” and the theme will be Fusion and Wires X due to the new Fusion repeater in Polk County (LARC, LWRA and PEM collaboration) 145.270 -6  C4FM only. It is on the air now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2023 Florida QSO Party<\/strong> is this weekend<\/strong>; All 67 counties will be active.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two ten hour operating periods, with a ten hour break:
Saturday, April 29 1600Z (Noon EDT) \u2013 April 30 0159Z (9:59 PM EDT)
